District Elder Gregory Watkins, Sr.
Pastor Pastor Watkins was born and reared to be a God-fearing man in the city of Natchez, MS. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and mathematics from Alcorn State University. It was there that he met his wife Alana R. Stone. They were joined together for life on June 27, 1987, and shortly thereafter moved to Atlanta, Georgia. They have three beautiful children -- Sierra, Greg Jr., and India. On Dec. 13, 1992, the Lord filled Pastor Watkins with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. In 1995, the Lord sent Pastor Watkins back to his home town to assist his father in the ministry. It was there that Pastor Watkins answered his call to the ministry. In 1998, Pastor Watkins formed The Beauty of Holiness Apostolic Church in Natchez, Mississippi, where many came to the Lord, being baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost. After three years as the pastor of BOHAC, the Lord led him and his family to Houston, Texas. Then in 2005, they joined Faith Tabernacle Holiness Outreach Ministries, under the leadership of Bishop Ovra Harris. Pastor Watkins became assistant pastor at Faith Tabernacle in January 2008, and was ordained an elder in the Living Witnesses of the Apostolic Faith, Inc., under the leadership of Bishop Clord Jordan in July that same year. He was soon afterward named pastor of Faith Tabernacle on September 28, 2008. The Lord has continued to bless and elevate Pastor Watkins: He was appointed chairman of the Southern States Council for L.W.A.F., Inc., in January of 2010, and in February 2011, he was ordained a District Elder over the Southern region. Pastor Watkins has truly been blessed during his walk with Christ, and he has been a blessing to all who know him. Many lives have been touched through his ministry, and he contributes it to Jesus Christ. All that he is, is of the Lord.

Outreach Ministry Leader I am a deacon here at Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Ministries. I also work at U.S. Legal Support, in the court reporting department. It was God's grace, love, and mercy that drew me to Him. I was brought up in the church but got away from the Lord to do my own thing. But because of God's grace, love, and mercy he never left me. (Deuteronomy 4:31) He continued to be my shepherd by protecting and providing for me as His sheep that had gone away. I was blind and did not realize that the life I was living was not pleasing to God. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4) One day my eyes were opened, and I noticed that a lot of my buddies whom I would club and run the streets with were either dead, in prison or smoking crack. I was headed down the same road. But for whatever reason, (grace, love, and mercy) God spared me and gave me another chance. After repenting, being baptized in Jesus name, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, (Acts 2:37-39) I was given power to resist the things that I use to do. I get excited when people see me now and see Christ in me and not the old person I use to be. It lets me and others know that I've been changed and don't even think the same. (Romans 12:2) And I will continue to be this person until Christ returns.
